We are very excited to see how the flames will turn out. Water born paint has now made flaming louvers an option.  We are excited to announce Larry and Carol Olson’s 1940 Ford Deluxe won Best Street Rod at Shades of the Past 2012! The ’40 was also recognized in the Fabulous 5, Top 25 and will be 1 of 2 cars featured on the 2013 Shades of the Past T-Shirts.
Built by the team at Bowman Real Hot Rods and painted by Smitty's Custom Painting  We had such a great time meeting new friends and running into familiar faces at this year’s Shades of the Past Hot Rod Roundup!
The hospitality to the participants and guests was beyond expectation! With over 3000 cars on display and 300 builders showcasing their work, Shades of the Past was the highest quality show we've seen in years. We are very exciting about next year and are already planning to return with a surprise or two. Thanks again to Bobby Alloway and the Board at Shades of the Past!  SOLD!
Before we had a chance to hot rod this car, we received a lot of interest from people that wanted to restore this rare automobile. We have decided to sell the car. This car is going to our good friends, the Tetro family at Harbor Auto & Restoration. Follow the progress on their Facebook page. |
